Trails have been closed for a few weeks but now they are officially NYS closed. With the cooperation of Mother Nature we were able to open the trails in early February with some of the best riding conditions we’ve had in a few years. The opening of Dix Bridge brought a lot of traffic into our area and gave us the opportunity to ride Washington County trails and farther. Overall it was a very good season with minimal issues. Most riders were respectful and courteous and don’t think that our Landowners didn’t notice, we’ve received many positive comments and we thank you for that!
We would like to thank all that helped to make our season a success: the dedicated volunteers that help get the trails ready each season, all those that joined LMGSC, riders and members that came out to support us at our Ride-In, the Operators that put in long hours grooming the trails, those that work on our equipment and of course our many Landowners that make our trail system possible.
We’ve got got a few projects in the planning stages for this summer, keep watch for postings of work parties. Our trails wouldn’t be what they are without our volunteers.
